Esteban was not a straight-A student. He wasn’t popular or good at team sports. He missed the bus often and he was always still building his shoebox diorama at 1am the night before it was due. But in third grade he received The Wood Acres Elementary School “Shows Kindness to Others” award and later on his “High-Reach Watering Can” won Bes
Esteban was not a straight-A student. He wasn’t popular or good at team sports. He missed the bus often and he was always still building his shoebox diorama at 1am the night before it was due. But in third grade he received The Wood Acres Elementary School “Shows Kindness to Others” award and later on his “High-Reach Watering Can” won Best Fifth Grade Invention in the Maryland State Invention Fair. For the next few decades, his career and life choices have reflected those two attributes: a creative and entrepreneurial way of looking at the world, combined with a deep desire to improve people’s lives. Today, he lives on a small hobby farm in Maryland with his wife and four daughters.
