Welcome
A HELPING HAND, ON DEMAND.
We build tools to create a world where trusted help is accessible anytime, anywhere, right when you need it.
We build tools to create a world where trusted help is accessible anytime, anywhere, right when you need it.
We’re thrilled to announce the launch of the first tool in the Apps of Kindness ecosystem: Caring Circles! Built to support trusted groups rallying around urgent needs in practical ways, Apps of Kindness' Caring Circles makes it simple to help loved ones when it matters most—and in the ways that matter most.
Best of all, it’s free to use.
Take a look outside. You’ll see people focused on their own tasks, vehicles in motion, skills in action, and the everyday tools that help us all move through life.
At Apps of Kindness, we see a scattered abundance of untapped resources. Many personal challenges stem from missing something that’s actually nearby—but not easily accessible. As a result, we face massive waste, inefficiency, and... hidden potential.
What if we could unlock and share that potential at scale? What if a marketplace existed for exchanging favors safely and efficiently—without money? What if empathy and connection could flourish through helping and being helped?
Let’s match surplus with need.
As a registered Public Benefit Corporation, Apps of Kindness is working to create a world where people are encouraged and assisted to help each other in meaningful and practical ways.
At a time when technology is often designed as an addicting distraction and diversion from the real world, Apps of Kindness intentionally turns attention outward, to meaningful in-person connections that benefit individuals and the community at-large.
The resources around us are already abundant. Instead of seeking new ones to meet our needs, Apps of Kindness helps bring what’s already available to the moments they’re needed most.
Instead of broadcasting to large groups, Apps of Kindness tools are built to find and reach out to those most likely to help—quickly, easily, and with minimal effort.
Apps of Kindness nurtures the core elements of human empathy in every interaction: shared experiences, aligned goals, and face-to-face connection where genuine goodwill and gratitude meet.

Esteban was not a straight-A student. He wasn’t popular or good at team sports. He missed the bus often and he was always still building his shoebox diorama at 1am the night before it was due. But in third grade he received The Wood Acres Elementary School “Shows Kindness to Others” award and later on his “High-Reach Watering Can” won Best Fifth Grade Invention in the Maryland State Invention Fair. For the next few decades, his career and life choices have reflected those two attributes: a creative and entrepreneurial way of looking at the world, combined with a deep desire to improve people’s lives. Today, he lives on a small hobby farm in Maryland with his wife and four daughters.
